The Refugees -- Cindy Bullens, Deborah Holland and Wendy Waldman -- perform at the Philadelphia Folk Festival in August 2008. This song, a huge hit for Vanessa Williams in the '90s, was written by Waldman with Phil Galston and Jon Lind. This mostly acappella version can be heard on the Refugees' CD, "Unbound." |

Stonehoney is a group of songwriters whose crystalline four-part harmonies harken back to the Laurel Canyon sound of the early '70s. Formed in Los Angeles, the group is now based in Austin, Texas. They were captured live at Folk Alliance in Memphis, February 2009. |

This was one of the first shows of Peter's that I recorded, at Ashland Coffee and Tea, Ashland, Virginia, October 2002. Snipers were terrorizing the Washington, DC area at the time. The song was co-written by Peter and Tom Russell. |
